We're Five Years Old March 4, 2009

Business Warriors started on March 4, 2004, as Crashproof your Business.

The site initially held just the CrashProof strategies and a Forum. The first concept was to reach people that had not been through a CrashProof Seminar.  Peter Carruthers was tired of the rising costs and frustrations - all of which took most of the fun out of the training process.

Within the first week 400 people joined the community. Each person had already attended the CrashProof seminar. Some of them twice! They seemed more interested in the concept of an online group for sharing, since most had already acted on the ideas and were pretty impregnable.

Five years later the group consists of more than 1000 members. Many of the original members remain, with more than 80% of the community having been in the group for more than 2 years.

The site has grown to offer a lot more material, and the Forum now contains more than 17,000 threads (themes) with more than 142,000 posts (individual responses).

 

 

 

Pring And Conditions for Business Warriors

Over the past four years, of being a Business Warrior, I found myself referring back to the Warrior forum whenever I needed help or advice on basically anything. Whether it is about what kind of cellphone to buy or how to go about applying for a homeloan. The best thing I learnt though was how to crashproof our business. We had an overdraft of  R500K as well as a short term business loan of the same amount and signed sureties for it at the bank. The bank made a huge amount of profit through incredible interests whilst holding us ransom through the sureties. We have since gotten rid of this debt as well as the sureties involved. In these trying economic times we have Business Warriors and Peter Carruthers to thank for it.
