Our address information is below. South Africans will instantly see that the address is nowhere near Johannesburg! There is a good reason for that.

Peter Carruthers founded Business Warriors in March 2004.One morning in early 2006 I woke up in Umhlanga Rocks to find that none of my 6 Internet connections was working! That's really tough to handle when your business is all online. (My combination of ADSL, MTN 3G, Vodacom 3G, Dial Up, iBurst, and ISDN was costing a small fortune, but not reliable enough.)

When I eventually got back online I bumped into an advert offering 8MB ADSL for the princely sum of  Â£5-00/month (unlimited data). Small snag: It was in the UK.

After discussing this with the community we agreed that I could probably support the Warriors better from here for a while.Having a live body offshore to create opportunities for Warriors in SA would probably add value as well. And that's exactly what has happened.

Pring And Conditions for Business Warriors

All I can say is that with your advice, information and from others, my business has been saved from SARS, and other creeps that seem to abound when money is involved.

David Fiddler has been a Warrior since November 2004 and can be found at www.consultmarine.co.za

Pete has really helped my business keep up with technology!

Toni Shina has been a Warrior since July 2005 and can be found at www.backpackers.co.za

As a lone small business operator, the Business Warriors community has become my virtual colleague and the members my friends.

Not only do I find immense information at hand but I enjoy the real relationships that have sprung up when we meet socially.  I have discovered an immense array of businesses and unique ideas that make up this community which gives it both strength and diversity.

Fiona Coward has been a Warrior since July 2005 and can be found at www.sabiexperience.co.za

I first attended a seminar which Pete gave on crash-proofing your business and have been a member since then, 2004-08-18. We both lived in Durban in those days - I'm still here but Boy has Pete travelled since then! So I guess he is living proof that if your source of income is derived primarily from the net, you can live wherever you want to.

I think the power of Business Warriors is in its collective nature in terms of the problems, solutions and opinions found on the Forum. A lot of them you can relate to, being in business in SA yourself.

It is a small price to pay for what you can get out of it and I have to admit, I am not using 50% of its capabilities.

Ok Pete, I said what you asked, now about that bottle of vitage red that you promised me!!

Simon Daynes has been a Warrior since August 2004 and can be found at www.supafoods.co.za
