BusinessWarriors  South Africa

South Africa's Leading Online Business Owner Community

We've been answering your tough questions since 2004

Inside Business Warriors Online Networking

The BIGGEST challenge your venture faces, the challenge that if you fail with it, WILL force your firm into closure, is simply this: How to find more clients.

Most of us have been down the advertising road, and usually with little success. And most of have tried (or still do try) networking meetings. Some are good, but we've attended a host which are like business speed-dating. No fun, and by the time the hour is over, everyone has forgotten everybody else.

Our community gathers online. Often. At odd hours. That means that we develop lots of strong relationships.

So if somebody asks me for a surveillance expert, guess who springs to mind? Tim, who tells us what he does, in his signature, attached to thousands of posts.

And if one of the Warriors  wants to sell a business (or buy one) or wants any help with either of those, somebody else pops up. Mark, who tells us what he does, in his signature, attached to thousands of posts.

Mark will be the first to admit that the community has sent him a whole pile of prospects.

In other words - being seen in the Forum adds huge value to your business. When you show your competence by answering the occasional question that falls within your ambit, you strengthen your image, and your Forum signature reminds us what you do.

But we're trying to offer a lot more than that. The Business Warrior site has been very active for the past five years. By introducing 'live' testimonials, with links to Warrior sites we're sharing back.

For instance, if you refresh this page, you will see a completely different set of testimonials.

We do the same thing with the Warrior profiles that appear at the bottom of the pages in the Tao section.

More importantly, most small business owners don't have too much skill when it comes to making themselves visible online. We're solving that by offering them each an optimised profile that will draw Google traffic (because we're a reasonably high ranked site). This traffic will click-through to the site of the relevant Warrior (if s/he has one) or will act as their website until they get one.

This community is about helping each other. It's worked well since March 2004. Please join us.

Pring And Conditions for Business Warriors

Being quite busy in the day, I am often pushed for time when it comes to looking for new ways to increase our visibility in the market place.

All I can say to Peter is a big THANK YOU for doing all the homework on our behalf, on the new concepts/software/gadgets & gizmos that are currently out there and that are viable options for us to consider.

The time, money & energy that saves me is huge. Although I have not posted any comments yet, I thoroughly enjoy reading the posts in the categories which are of particular interest to me.  They are informative and often, quite entertaining.

"You must be crazy to start your own business. You're going to lose your house, your car - everything!"

That's the advice I got when I decided to quit being an employee. And it scared the daylights out of me!

Thankfully I joined Business Warriors in 2004 and discovered the forum filled with advice, tips and solid info from other business owners; people who actually run their own businesses and understand - and know how to deal with - the challenges involved.

BW has given me an incredible network of advice and support. I've formed valuable relationships on both a business and personal level. Today, years after starting out, I still turn to the Wiki for practical info on Marketing, Trusts, Tax, Legal issues and general business savvy. Business Warriors is a valuable tool in my Business Toolbox.

Albert has been a long-standing member of BW but not used the site at all. With tough times around it's time to connect wherever possible!

I have thoroughly enjoyed and used Pete's Weekly ideas thus far.

I am therefore looking forward to the power of the community and to share and receive both ideas and connections.

I have followed Pete and his many pieces of wisdom over many years.

As a non-warrior ( they were not in existence then)

As a warrior

As a non warrior and now as a warrior again.

Logic simply tells me that a bunch of like-minded individuals can achieve so much more than being a "lone fighter".
